As well as that traditional cruises have set dress codes for evening meals freestyle cruises tend to be a bit more lenient keeping it to smart/casual. The same goes for the entertainment because you can go for your evening meal when ever you want then you can make sure you get to the evening entertainment that you want to watch or participate in most of all. As well as the main show they tend to have smaller venues with varying entertainment such as karaoke and bars.

This type of cruise is aimed at the kind of person that likes to have a routine set out for them and have a more high class feel to their holiday. Unlike the freestyle cruises traditional ones have set times for dining and usually have a dress code for evening meals consisting of evening dresses for ladies and smart dark suits for the men. The cruise organisers usually have set times for different activities through out the days and will give passengers a card of when each event is taking place.
