Cruises have often thought to be just for those with sufficient disposable income but now a days that is not the case. There was a time when it was only the wealthy and famous that could take cruise holidays that is why they are so widely aspired to as holidays there a now a selection of holidays you can take to cater for your needs no matter what they may be.Freestyle Cruising Here are some examples of the different services and variations in the world of cruise holidaying;

Freestyle Cruising

This is a newer style of cruising that offers a more relaxed way to cruising in many different ways because there is no set schedule to follow like traditional cruises. For example traditional cruises have set times for meals where as freestyle cruises don’t they tend to have a variety of restaurants and cafes that you can choose when you want to eat and to which ever restaurant you want to go to you can just go.

While on most traditional cruises they will have set meal times and will usually sit you at group tables with people you may not know for the duration of your holiday, freestyle cruises allow you to choose. This means if you want to sit with a group you can but if you and your partner want to sit alone you can get a private table. As well as that traditional cruises have set dress codes for evening meals freestyle cruises tend to be a bit more lenient keeping it to smart/casual.Traditional Cruising The same goes for the cruise entertainment because you can go for your evening meal when ever you want then you can make sure you get to the evening entertainment that you want to watch or participate in most of all. They tend to have a more varied selection of entertainment as well with there being the usual shows but then also a selection of bars and karaoke for example.

Traditional Cruises

The traditional cruise is aimed at the kind of person that likes to have a routine set out for them and have a more high class feel to their holiday. Unlike the freestyle cruises traditional ones have set times for dining and usually have a dress code for evening meals consisting of evening dresses for ladies and smart dark suits for the men. The cruise organisers usually have set times for different activities through out the days and will give passengers a card of when each event is taking place.
