At one point all holidays in Britain were pretty much just sea side resort holidays but how things have changed over the years. There is that big a selection of types of holiday you can go on in the UK now there is not as much of a need to you abroad to find something a bit more adventurous.   Once you have a list of the treatments you want to try you need to think about where you want the spa to be situated as what people find relaxing varies from person to person some like the countryside with its slow moving pace of life where as others feel more comfortable nearer town centres. When you have decided on all of the above you can then start looking for the spa that suits your needs.
• Adventure – adventure style holidays in the UK have become more popular than ever at the moment with new extreme sports being constantly introduced to the variety available. For example skiing holidays are now widely available in Scotland generally only through out certain parts of the year due to snow conditions.
  Some of the places available for skiing in Scotland are the Nevis Range, Glenshee and Cairngorm they all vary in what standard of ability you should have before tackling them but Nevis runs have the most advanced slopes for those wanting more of a challenge. As well as these there are many places such as the Lake District where it is possible to enjoy many different sports from sailing to rock climbing. The Lake District also offers selections for all from beginners to the more experienced people, another attribute to the area is the great fishing areas there are some areas specifically for fishing.

When booking your holiday you need not necessarily think of going abroad straight away it depends entirely on the kind of holiday you want.
